Permanent & Semi-Permanent Makeup

A specialist technique, known as micropigmentation (machine method). A cosmetic tattoo which is used to enhance the eyebrows, lips or eyes. Customers benefit from this treatment for many reasons, most commonly to save time with make up everyday. Carried out with a digital machine with a tiny needle to implant colour into the skin. The method is gentle on the skin and heals quickly. Anaesthetic cream is used to keep you comfortable during treatment. This treatment is a two part process with a top up required 6-8 weeks after the initial treatment, which is included in the treatment price. An annual colour boost is recommended every 12-18 months to maintain the colour.

Lip Blush

Lip blush is a cosmetic tattoo, designed to enhance your own lips by creating fuller and more defined lips by adding colour. This treatment is perfect for naturally pale lips that have faded in colour. Lip blush can be carried out lips with or without filler. I have a wide choice of colours to choose from, natural or bright. A consultation is required, you can bring pictures or your favourite coloured lipstick along for guidance. Results can last up to 2 years.

HD Brows

This bespoke eyebrow treatment is totally tailored to you! So much more than a standard wax and tint; combining the unique HD design with custom-blended colour, hair removal using waxing, threading, tweezing and trimming, to create the perfect brows. Perfect for taming unruly brows or to grow over plucked brows. Recommended every 6-8 weeks.

Brow Lamination

A perm for eyebrows! Chemicals are used to manipulate the hairs, strengthening and lengthening the brow hairs, paired with a HD tint and wax. Eyebrows appear thicker, fuller, defined and more symmetrical. Perfect for the brushed up look, or if you want a fuller brow. Recommended every 8 weeks.

Powder Brows

A stunning technique layering pigment throughout the brow giving brows a freshly tinted look, or as though they have make up applied. Powder brows are suitable for all skin types.

Ombre Brows

Using the same method as powder brows, Ombre brows tend to be lighter towards the fronts or tops of your brows, these can be as soft or as bold as you like them. Suitable for all skin types, top-up recommended after 12-24 months.

Hairstoke Brows

Unlike microblading, machine hairstroke brows are created using a tattoo machine. A needle implants pigment with tiny dots, creating lovely soft hairstrokes that blend with the natural hair. Perfect for a more natural look. Hairstroke brows are not suitable for all skin types, this can be assessed through a consultation. Top-up recommended 12-18 months.

Lash Enhancement

A fine line of pigment running through the lash line (top, bottom, or both) to add definition and depth to the eyes.  Giving the appearance of thicker and more defined lash line.

Results last 18-24 months

Classic Lash Extensions

A single lash extension is applied to each natural lash, perfect if you want to wake up every day with a mascara look. Infills are required every 3 weeks to maintain.

Volume Lashes

Multiple lashes are fanned and applied to each natural lash. Volume extensions are much finer and lighter, resulting in a denser fluffier look. Infills are required every 3-4 weeks.

After Care & FAQ's

How to care for your brows, lashes & permanent makeup

Can anyone have PMU?

You are unable to have any permanent makeup treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

You must be off any Acne treatment for atleast 12 months.

If you suffer from cold sores you MUST ask your doctor for a prescription of Aciclovir for at least 5 days before and 5 days post treatment.

Make sure you exfoliate and moisturise your lips at least a week before treatment.

Any use of lash serums must be stopped at least 4 weeks prior to lash enhancement or eyeliner.

Lash extensions must be removed before any eye liner appointments.

If you are on any medication that thins the blood, have an autoimmune disorder or medical condition it must be disclosed before your appointment, a doctors consent form may be required, or in some cases treatment will not be possible.

What if I already have PMU??

If you already have semi permanent makeup on the area, Hayley must see photos before you book in.  It is not always possible to work over existing PMU without removal.

How long will it last?

Depending on how well you look after your permanent makeup, your skin type and amount of sun exposure, semi permanent makeup should last between 12-18 months, lips and liner 18 months.

For colour boosts left longer than 18 months, additional charges may apply.

Does it hurt?

All procedures are pre-numbed with topical anaesthetic and reapplied throughout the treatment.  You will feel a slight scratching, but pain is kept to a minimum

Is it safe?

Hayley is professionally trained and fully insured.  Treatments are carried out in a sterile environment and all safety procedures are followed.

PMU Aftercare: Touch ups

You will need to return for your perfecting/touch up session 6-12 weeks after treatment.

To avoid charges please give a minimum of 48 hours notice for any cancelled retouch appointments.  If your retouch is over 12 weeks because you have to postpone or cancel an appointment you will be charged the price of an annual top up.

Everyone's skin heals differently and most clients develop patchy or faded areas. It's important to remember that this is a two part process and the touch up session is required to complete the procedure.

PMU Aftercare: Important Info

Follow the aftercare that’s given to you.  Keeping your eyeliner/brows dry for 2 weeks is essential.

Always follow the advice given to you after your procedure, 50% of your results are down to your body and skin and how you look after them.

Avoid Vaseline during your healing period, as this prevents the skin from being able to breathe.

PMU Aftercare: during the healing period:

No sunbeds

No sweating in the gym

No makeup on the area

No antiaging creams on the area

Do not touch the area or pick at any scabs

Leave the area alone and let them heal for at least 10 days.

Lip healing involves applying the balm given to you at your appointment constantly until they have healed, usually a week.

Things to remember when having semi-permanent makeup

It isn’t maintenance free; you won’t need to apply make up every day to create a shape, but if you have fair brow hair for example it may mask your new brows, therefore it’s a good idea to have the occasional tint and wax to keep your brows looking fresh. Semi-permanent makeup is healed in the skin, its longevity depends on several factors including UV rays, skin type, skincare, use of harsh products, medication or hormones.

Colour boosts

Everyone's skin is different, semi-permanent makeup will fade as time goes on.  Colour boosts may be required more often on clients with oily skin or if no hair is present.  Its recommended to apply sunblock to your brows to protect them.  If you would like to maintain your brows with a HD treatment, I offer 15% off HD Brows.
